On the 18th of September, the german non-governmental organization GIZ organized a blood donation to collect blood to treat anemic patients of the prefectural hospital. 48 of our students volunteered and 30 pockets of blood were collected, due to some students not fulfilling the requirements. The organizing team consisted of laboratory technicians from the hospital, nurses, GIZ and a laboratory technician from the CNTS (national committee for blood transfusion). The activity also took place in a local high school to collect as much blood as possible and save as many patients as possible. The donation was a success and everyone was satisfied with the hygienic conditions and infrastructures!
